Surrealism
1. I took a picture of Cole on a backdrop, then I went into Photoshop and deleted a circle from his chest ad filled it in with the same colour as the backdrop.
2. When shooting I didn't come up with any better ideas, which I wish I would have. I stuck to my original idea when shooting and edited the way I planned.
3. I personally see this as Cole missing a piece of himself, that he is not complete. I hope other people will see the same thing but also find different meanings that go with the photo. This photo is completely up for interpretation.

Winter
![]() |
Snowy Logs
1. I picked this image over the others because I liked this shot the best, I think it really brings out the theme Winter when looking at this photo.
2. I saw this pile of firewood and how it's been affected by the snow. I then went down low beside it at the start of the pile and took a photo of the whole thing but only focusing on the front log.
3. What stands out the most is the first log and just the texture of it as well as the snow on the log andall the other ones.
4. What leads my eye around the photo is probably the little white patches of snow on all the logs. I start at the first log in focus then just look at all the white patches on the other logs.

Night Theme

Chilly Night
1. I picked this image over the others because I think it turned out the best and I like the leading lines in the photo.
2. I saw these planters with the lines and thought it would be a cool shot with the lights in the background also, I went very low to the ground to also capture some of the night sky.
3. What stands out most is probably lines on the side of the planters and also the bright lights in the background
4. What leads my eye around is the leading lines and then I see the stuff in the backgroud like the lights ad sky.

Condescending Cole
1. I chose this photo because I feel this one brings out the most emotion of my Subject.
2. I setup my photo by having a 3 point lighting system. I had my subject sit down in a chair and then used a Tripod to capture the photo at the right moment.
3. What stands out the most is the Subjects facial expression.
4. My eye starts up top with his facial expression and then it follows his hand to his arm.

Faceless Portraits

Faceless Sean
1. I picked this image in particular because I liked the lighting of the photo and I like the way it turned out with Sean wearing his hood.
2. I set a Key Light up to my left at medium level pointed at Sean, Sean was sitting down and I used a Tripod at medium level to capture the shot.
3. What stands out the most is probably his hands and the phone he is holding onto.
4. My eyes first focus on his hand and phone because they are in the light and he is looking down towards his phone so my eyes go there first. Then I look up towards his face and see the hood
